Notes:

DanD187's recent excellent seed of a 1975 Gary Wright show inspired me to dig this one out. Unfortunately, I couldn't find my master reel, this is from my cassette safety copy. I wish it sounded better, but I issue my usual challenge: somebody out there must have a better version of this. Bring it on. This challenge has worked well in the past, so let's have it.

This show appears to be from 1976, when Gary was touring to support "Light of Smiles," his best album, in my humble opinion. He sounds confident, and this performance really rocks. If I recall correctly, this group comprised only him, drummer Art Wood (who totally tears it up here) and the background singers. "Love Is Alive" is really trancelike, and this
version of "Silent Fury" totally kicks ass.

The bad news: the broadcast just disappeared from the the airwaves about a minute into "I Can't Find The Judge" -- and never returned. I faded it out to avoid the very unpleasant cut. There also dropouts here and there. There's also KBFH's unfortunate practice of laying on excessive amounts of canned audience cheering.

Hope you enjoy it.
