Thanks for the post, I'm not sure that Lemmy was in the band during that period tho'

Hi Dex ans Mal.
I was at this show - my first Hawkwind show - I can confirm Lemmy made a guest apperance on Silver Machine - He played guitar - NOT Bass. I remember Dave Brock showing him the chords during the first verse and seemingly being quite amused. Not sure if he stayed on for Levitation.
Hawkwind are still rockin in outer space - go see them you will get a superb show.

Blimey I was there at the front for that gig! I remember queueing up for hours in the freezing cold, held together with a bottle of brandy from the off licence across the road.
And Lemmy nearly kicked me in the face...lol
I must have seen the mighty Hawkwind (in their various guises) half a dozen times in the late 70s and 80s - usually at the New Theatre in Oxford tho one line up called The Hawklords came to Bletchley around 78 ish. Superb night because of Robert Calvert.
Another earlier abiding memory was Lemmy machine gunning the audience with his bass at the end of SM.
Looking forward to seeing them again some time tho I doubt it will be the same.
